Escape from the Very Bad Planet

To tell the truth, I wasn't too enthused by this game. I find the aesthetic bad (at least in the beginning because you can dream of it getting better after). I also think the fact that you can move the vessel to collect gold and avoid the obstacles, seems more than a deja vu to me.

Frantic 3

This spatial battle game is excellent. I haven't seen a nice one like this in a while but graphically speaking, it's not a success. What makes this game captivating, is it's playability. 5 worlds, 6 levels per world where you have to confront aliens and at the end of the level, a chief. Between each level, you can spend the money you collected in improvements of the weapons (new ones or reinforcement of the ones you already have) or of the equipments (for example, attract the gold towards you on a larger surface).

This spaceship racing game is well produced. You can choose between four different drivers (2 women, 2 men). There are 5 vessels (only one is unlocked for the moment, you have to buy the other ones with the money you've collected)and 5 circuits. Watch out, the closer your landracer (or speedracer or simply your vessel) gets to the edge, the more your vehicle loses speed.

Galaxy Siege

Don't get demoralized by the presentation image, it doesn't reflect the quality of the game at all. If you like spatial strategy games, this is your game. There's your vessel's management (find the balance between the defense, the attack and the prospection of minerals), the planetary systems' management and there are, of course, combats against the aliens that are enemies. In the beginning, there's a little space ship and the farther you get into the game, the more things take place. You even buy elements that make your astroport bigger, meaning your vessel. If you get destroyed by an alien mother vessel, it's OK, you can start over and over again until you have the necessary armament and defense.

I tried it and I have to say I was very disappointed by this game. The most important, and which made me almost miss the first wave of enemies, is that the left button on the mouse doesn't work to shoot, you have to use the X key. The other thing that disappointed me, is the lack of originality. There's not much innovation in this game and you have to face the usual little enemies and big boss.

This game is simply excellent. You are playing a robot that's lost with its exploration vessel after an accident with a meteorite. Nocran Space

I really like spatial combat games. However, I'm very difficult. The game has to be a pleasure to play but it must also be a pleasure for me to look at it and I like games to surprise me with innovative ideas. Here, everything is somber. This has to be the darkest night there is in space, but still... it's a fiction game, why not innovate when it comes to the colors and avoid being lightened with a projector on the screen just so we can see something and actually play. There are 10 levels, the weapon automatically focuses on the target that's in front, no matter the distance. What would've been original, is if the weapon's shot could be focused on the enemy no matter his position, taking into account the enemy's level of threat.

Retroid Reloaded

Graphically speaking, this game is awesome. It's a combat in an arena taking place in the future. Which means, instead of it being warriors, it is space ships that are facing each other off. To begin, you have a choice between two vessels. There are 35 different arenas. The game is very quick. On one end you are moving your vessel to avoid the enemy kamikazes, on the other end, you are moving your mouse to take them down. Don't forget to pick up the money the enemies sometimes leave behind.

I tried this game numerous times and I found myself stuck in the tutorial numerous times. It's incredible, not being able to get through a tutorial ! Expansion because you have to settle on the new neutral planets by colonizing them. Exploitation because you have to start building buildings and exploit natural resources of each new planet. This game is awesome. There are 5 levels of difficulty. You can play the driver Dayla and her pink vessel, either Kalec or her green vessel. It's a race. Take the turbo exits and of course, avoid the electric doors. What I like, is the circuit on numerous levels and the fact that you can jump from one to the other. I also appreciate the quality of the production.
